Training Our Thoughts Sermon Series
We live in an anxious world, one that prizes control, self-reliance, and careful planning. Yet Paul’s closing words to the Philippians paint a different picture: a life marked by trust, generosity, and peace. Writing from house arrest, Paul thanked the church in Philippi for their faithful partnership and reminded them that their security was not in circumstances, but in Christ.
We learn what it means to move from a survival mind driven by fear and self-reliance to a secure mind anchored in God’s provision.
The believer who trusts God’s promises can rest, give, and worship with confidence, knowing that “my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
